Meredith's  approach to therapy is to be a travel companion to uncover how you may have gotten to this place,  learning healthier coping strategies, and understanding what might be  standing in your way to FLOURISHING.  She incorporates a strength-based approach with an attachment-based healing method that can address past and present emotional injuries.

Meredith obtained her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. While studying there, she was trained in a variety of therapy methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy and attachment-based and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Most currently, Meredith was trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is a bilateral eye movement therapy that is process oriented rather than content oriented: focusing more on body sensations and emotions rather than cognition.

Meredith has worked in a variety of counseling settings including the community-based JFCS of Long Beach, the Hebrew Academy Day School in Huntington Beach, and Alliance Psychology Group in Long Beach.

Meredith's specialization is in anxiety treatment  She understands the ways that  anxiety, stress, worry and negative thinking can impact life and relationships. She also knows how the right changes can open doors to a  higher quality of life. Her expertise is in guiding adults and teens who  struggle with anything from occasional worry and stress, to crippling  panic, OCD, or depression that often accompanies anxiety

Meredith opened up her own psychotherapy practice in 2020 and has been expanding her practice to now include Associates, which she supervises.  She is excited to offer sessions at her new location in Los Alamitos.

Emily works with children and teens and their families, as well as individual adults, and couples. She specializes in trauma-informed practices and experiential modalities. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and rooted in a person-centered framework. She believes that each individual is the expert of their own life, and her role is to create a safe space where you can explore your unique experiences, thoughts, and emotions together. As someone who is passionate about supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients, she understands how vital it is to approach therapy with an affirming and inclusive lens. She recognizes that identity—whether related to race, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, or family dynamics—shapes how we experience the world, and she honors that in her work.

She offers several therapeutic tools including play therapy, sand tray therapy, and art therapy directives (adults need play, too!) These modalities allow for a creative and expressive approach to healing, providing a way to process emotions that might be difficult to articulate. Her goal is to help you develop new coping skills, uncover your inner strengths, and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges.

When she is not in session, she enjoys spending time with her cat, reading, traveling, and rollerskating. She believes  in the healing power of creativity and exploration, and she brings these passions into her work as well.

Esthela is a bilingual and bicultural Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges, transitions, and periods of growth. She believes that everyone carries inner strengths and wisdom, even during moments that feel overwhelming, uncertain, or stuck. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, Esthela helps clients gently explore and reframe their personal narratives, reconnect with their resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Her work is grounded in deep respect for each client’s lived experience, cultural identity, and personal values.

Esthela works with adults, couples, parents, and youth from diverse backgrounds, and she brings an integrative, client-centered perspective to therapy. Drawing from trauma-informed and relational frameworks, she partners with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, build self-compassion, and develop practical coping strategies that support healing and emotional growth. Whether clients are navigating relationship challenges, major life transitions, or internal struggles such as stress, self-doubt, or identity exploration, Esthela strives to create a safe, supportive, and strengths-based space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised in Southern California, Esthela brings a bicultural lens and deep cultural awareness to her work. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Communication and Journalism.
